Writing Groups - or, When You Go Looking For Criticism, You'll Probably Find It

... not that it's always a bad thing!

I have heard very mixed reports from writer friends about writing groups, and it's easy to be left scratching your head as to how you find a good one and - let's face it - whether it's worth it.
